History of the company

Clive Burder, the founder of the company was employed as an Accountant in the Port Talbot Steel Works but decided to strike out on his own in 1978. At that time the Steel Works employed many trades.

However, in 1980, the Steel Works made 6000 employees redundant and this led to many of the ex-employees deciding to give self-employment a chance and start their own businesses. Clive, who was by then well established as an Accountant in Port Talbot, gained many new clients.


The business flourished from thereon. In 2007 Susan and Malcolm Ladd took over the practice and are the present owners.
